Akire is my name. Ablaze means burning fiercely, being on fire, radiant with light - all things I want to be. Plus I'm a sucker for alliteration.

I started this blog as a way to improve my web design, writing skills and to make friends with the wonderful people in the Australian beauty community.

I'm a huge consumer who heavily relies on the the reviews and opinions of others before I buy anything. Over the years I have acquired quite the collection of makeup, skincare, clothes and shoes which I have formed my own opinions on. Opinions that I believe could help you save that extra bit o' cash and positively impact your life! Haha I'm so deep when I want to be.

I do promise that I will give my honest opinion on all products I review.

You will not only find beauty related topics here but also fashion, TV shows, current obsessions, personal posts and everything else in between.

I do not have a fancy camera and all my photos are taken with my Sony Xperia Z1 phone.

I currently reside in Canberra, Australia - a small quaint city often forgotten. Personally I love it here, though I am quite introverted. Don't worry though, I'm really friendly - drop me a line!

I have a Bachelors of Science in Mathematical modelling and Quantitative Biology and Bioinformatics. I'm a bit of a science nerd but that's our secret.
